Establish a rapid-response fund for unplanned audits or investigations
Conduct regular simulations of high-risk scenarios (e.g., staff shortages, participant emergencies)
Continuous Improvement and Participant Engagement
Conduct quarterly “scaling health checks” to assess service quality and staff wellbeing, refer Effective Policy NDIS Provider Scaling Checklist (coming soon).
Review the strategic plan annually, aligning with NDIS reforms. If you don’t have a strategic plan, you should have one.
Implement systems for capturing and acting on participant feedback.
By focusing on these critical areas, senior staff can ensure their NDIS business is well-positioned for compliance, growth, and delivering high-quality services to participants.
